Days of the Week Stickers
The first step to create your scene sticker spread is to paste on the days of the week stickers. This kit features a cute watermelon pink colour for the background with a little lemons on the top left to tie the days of the week headers into the kit's them.
Are you Feeling the Lemons?
The lemon headers in this kit are adorable and really bring out the vibrant yellow colours of the spread. To get this look, apply the first two rows of header stickers and then use your white out roller to remove the last row of headers.
Ready for Some Washi?
The washi strips in this sticker kit are super easy to apply as they're literally just strips of green grass. As this scene is quite large and tall, I applied my grass scene to the very bottom of the page, leaving only about half a centimeter of space because, after all, I still need to be able to write in this spread!
Yellow Lemon House & White Picket Fences
The next step is to add the lemon yellow house as well as the white picket fence. The easiest way to do this is to remove both stickers from the sticker sheet and then place the house behind the fence and line the gate of the fence up on top of the door of the house. Then you'll want to very lightly attach these two stickers before applying them to your planner spread. I found that this was the best way to ensure that both stickers lined up properly.
Layering the Grass & Right Art Deco Stickers
Once you've applied the house and fence stickers to the right-side of your planner spread, you can now begin adding the green grass washi strip just slightly over top of the white picket fence.
My favourite part of this planner kit is adding the art deco stickers. For this kit, you'll receive the lemon yellow table and chairs (with chair bows of course!), a jug of lemonade, two clear glasses with lemon slices, a rustic box of lemons, and then the flower and cloud stickers. Feel free to create your own scene and apply these stickers where ever you wish in your planner!
Left White Picket Fence & Grass
On the left side of your planner, use your white out roller to remove the lines in the bottom third of your planner as well as at the top left where the month is. Next, apply the white picket fence to the same height as the one on the right side of your planner and then add the green grass washi strip just slightly on top of the fence.
Art Deco Time!
As I mentioned earlier, I love adding the art deco stickers to my planner (can you ever have too many art deco stickers?!). The left side of my spread is no exception! You'll want to layer on the lemonade price sign, lemonade stand, tall tree (once the tree was in place, I used scissors to cut the left edge of the tree that was over hanging on my planner), flowers, and the clouds. How pretty is that?
I also added a full box sticker to the top left of my planner as well as the trackers because, after all, we are planners and tracking is key to having a productive week!
Full Boxes & Functionals
The last few steps of building your planner scene sticker kit is to add the full boxes, the to do trackers as well as any half or quarter boxes and mini washi strips (don't for get the pretty bows!).
Now, step back and admire your creation because your planner looks beautiful!
